For the past few weeks, I have been researching the publishing industry. There are so many routes to take that it's hard to find just one; specific pros and cons of each deter me from a path and others seem more manageable and reachable.
I have also come to find that I've been looking at author insights into these dynamics for their thoughts and all I am finding are interviews for "better-known" authors.
So, I decided to start a new project.
This project consists of many authors worldwide who:
Want to talk about their journeys as an author
Give insight into their publishing path AND
since I also do book reviews.
3. Blab about their books.
I love reading and eventually, I've found I love learning about my authors.
The writing community is filled with so many different people that when we can come together, it's a work of art. We have writers who become authors, editors who help those authors, and other artists who further help - I needed to find a way to bring these people into the light.
My project, "The Spotlight" Project, is dedicated to this community. Bringing personal insight into the writing industry, life stories, professional services, and book dumping.
I pushed a post on Threads not so long ago to see which of those in our community are interested in being interviewed for this topic and the response I have gotten is overwhelming.
Needless to say, The Spotlight Project is a go.
For this project to continue, I'm looking for even more authors, editors, and hosts who are interested in interviews! Sign up with the link below and I will be right back with you!
